What to expect from our Top to Bottom/Initial Cleaning
Feel like things have gotten a little out of control? Been a while since you had any help around the house? Have that feeling you just wanted to start from a clean slate? Have a nit-picky family member coming into town you’d like to impress? Need someone to just do EVERYTHING in one fell swoop? Our deep clean service is probably a great fit for you.
How does our Top to Bottom service work?
Many times, we will suggest a Top to Bottom service for brand new clients, so our team can clean your house from top to bottom, covering all the little details and get it to ship-shape so that all it needs is to be maintained moving forward. In general, a Top to Bottom is a one-time (or maybe once per year) service and covers everything we’d do in a General clean PLUS all the nitty-gritty details. What to expect from our General/Maintenance Cleaning
We all need a little help sometimes. If you’re looking for someone to take cleaning off of your to-do list and help keep your home consistently clean; our General Residential Cleaning service is a great fit for you. Generally, a solo technician (sometimes teams of 2 or 3 dependent on the time schedule on a given day) will visit your home at the cadence of your choice and take care of every room. We’ll cover all of the elements you would expect to be covered when you’re looking for a “having guests-over-for-dinner” appropriate clean.
How does our General Cleaning service work?
Many times, when the client had cleaning services recently, we will suggest a General cleaning service, in which we will focus our time and energy on the basics such as bathrooms, floors, kitchen and general dusting. How to deal with our cleaning techs
Reschedule Policy: As West Hartford Cleaning Services continues to grow and expand its mission in bringing harmony into your home with quality and consistent cleanings, we have noticed an increase in last-minute skipping and rescheduling; this issue directly affects our cleaning techs. Our cleaners are the foundation of our company. To maintain a reputable team, we must provide each cleaning tech with consistency in their daily schedules to prevent loss of wages.
We operate on a flexible schedule, so please read up on that and be prepared to allow some leeway on our arrival time. We do our best to provide the exact time estimate as a customized service. But sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, things can get delayed with variables like construction, weather conditions, and transit time.
And we know that life happens, and sometimes things can change; Having policies and processes let us be prepared to handle situations in the best way possible.
Need to reschedule the service?
No problem! At least 48 business hours' notice (excluding weekends) is required. We must adhere strictly to this policy to prevent lost wages for your cleaner. If a cleaning appointment is skipped less than 48 business hours in advance, a 50% rate of service will be charged based on the rate of your scheduled service.

Skipping Weekly, Bi-weekly, Tri-Weekly, and Monthly services are subject to an additional fee added to the following cleaning service:
Pets: We are a pet-friendly company and perfectly happy to service your family, no matter the various species it includes.
PS: West Hartford Cleaning Services is not responsible for your pets. You know your pets best. If you have concerns about your pet’s behavior, safety, etc. Please restrict your pets and/or remove your pets from the property during cleaning service if you feel it necessary or have any concerns they might get nervous, angry, or anxious.
